About the Add Watermark

Stamp text or an image across the pages of a PDF, such as "CONFIDENTIAL" or your logo.

Upload your PDF.
Choose Text Watermark or Image Watermark. For text, type the Text Content and pick a Text Color. For an image, upload it.
Adjust Opacity, Rotation and Scale, and choose the Placement: centre, a corner or a diagonal spread.
Apply the watermark and download the new PDF.

Opacity around 0.3 keeps the page readable.
A 45° rotation is the classic diagonal watermark.
A watermark discourages misuse but is not a security feature. It can be removed by determined people.

Is my original file changed?

No. You download a new watermarked copy.
